I still remember the first time that I told my Italian friends about our kermani tradition of eating yogurt & dates after meals as a dessert. It was a bit strange for them and I think even in Iran it wasn't that common years back, but in my Kermani family and other families around us eating mast-o-khorma (yogurt-&-date) has been always an old tradition and a common everyday's dessert...
